Letter from the Administrator

Wow! Is it really August already? When did it sneak up on us? It seems like summer just started. Before you know it, we will be seeing kids with their new backpacks, lunch boxes and sneakers loading those big yellow school buses. As the kids go back to school to learn a new years’ worth of knowledge, it occurred to me that we are never too old to learn something new. Keeping the mind active is one of the most important things we can do for ourselves as we age. It is easier than you think. Reading, writing, doing crossword puzzles, playing games or simply reminiscing with friends can do wonders for the mind and memory. It is just as important as keeping physically fit. So as you enjoy your summer take some time to mentally exercise your brain to keep it as healthy as possible.

God bless,

Jordan Vinson
