Short-Term Therapy Success Story

Mr. Billy Ray A. came to us following hospitalization due to exacerbation of heart failure and debility. On admit he was able to ambulate only ten feet with a rolling walker, require assistance with transfers, stand for 30-60 seconds during ADL’s, required moderate assistance with upper body dressing, dependent for lower body dressing, and dependent for bathing.

We are happy to report that Mr. A was able to discharge home walking 150 feet independently using a walker, independent for transfers, and standing during ADLs for greater than five minutes. He is now able to bathe independently, and dress. We are so proud of him and his hard work during his stay with us!
