Success Story

Jon B. was admitted to us in January after being hospitalized for a pacemaker placement. He was unable to use his left upper extremity due to weight bearing status and recent surgery. He participated in PT and OT to regain strength, mobility, and independence. Upon admission he was MAX assist for sitting edge of bed, transfers, and bed mobility. He was unable to sit on the edge of the bed by himself. He worked very hard in therapy, and we are now happy to report at discharge, he was independent with transfers, bed mobility and sitting edge of bed. When he left facility, he was ambulating over 200ft with cane. We are so proud of Jon and all he accomplished in therapy for his short stay with us!
