Make a festive button wreath ornament in five easy-to-follow steps!

Supplies:

  • Cardboard (for the base)
  • Assorted buttons (variety of colors and sizes)
  • Hot glue gun or strong craft glue
  • Scissors
  • Ribbon (for decoration and hanging)
  • Glitter or Glitter Glue (optional)

Directions:

  1. Cut the Base: Cut a doughnut shape from the cardboard. Make the outer circle about 4 inches across and cut a 2.5 inch circle out of the middle. Tip: Use different size drinking glasses or bowls to trace the circles.
  2. Glue the Buttons: Glue large buttons around the cardboard base to cover it. Then, layer medium and small buttons on top, overlapping them to add texture and fullness.
  3. Add Some Sparkle: Add dots of glitter or glitter glue for extra sparkle.
  4. Attach Ribbon: Glue a bow and a loop of ribbon to the top of the wreath for hanging.
  5. Let Dry and Display: Once the glue is dry, your button wreath is ready to hang and enjoy!
