Our residents and staff plan to enjoy the once in a lifetime experience of the Total Solar Eclipse on August 21, 2017. The event has been described as the “Great American Eclipse” as it will be visible in totality only within a band across the entire contiguous United States. The previous time a total solar eclipse was visible across the entire contiguous United States was during the June 8, 1918 eclipse. Shady Lawn and the city of Cadiz will have a perfect view of this special event.
